The big — if not biggest — problem of high-end touch-screen phones like iPhone is that they are so delicate they have fat chance surviving when dropped. And the problem with clumsy people like me — and you, if you're still the same Carla I knew — is that we tend to drop stuffs.

I doubt Apple will replace or fix your phone, even during warranty period, if there are evidences that it has been dropped, dents or cracks for instance. So, I put a protective cover on my iPhone. It looks ugly, but it's still okay although I dropped it a few times. Or maybe I was just lucky.

I didn't know that the replacement phone could be of a fixed formerly defected phone. Anyhoo, Vincent dropped his iPhone once and it was over a year since he bought it (no warranty). If he had gone to Apple store in Denpasar, they would have sent it to Jakarta to fix and it might cost him a fortune and time. Especially time. So he browsed how to fix your own iPhone in forums and YouTube, figured out what exactly was the problem, opened his iPhone up and with a guide from an online video, he fixed it himself. But I thought that was such a gamble. What if he actually made it even worse? :P

Nevertheless, it's a very informative post and I have to say that I like your new blog look! Simple.

I just watched Clash of Titans on nearby cinema (in 2D), despite of its average rating in imdb and several negative reviews from some friends. I will try to not spill the story in my comment here.

It was not that special in the very beginning, but I think gradually it got better and better. Oh not to mention the visual effect was stunning from the beginning to the end.

I personally found some creatures there very interesting, very fluent flowing graphic, I was in love with one of em!

The story maybe could have been better if not because of the timing disadvantage. Anyhow, i think the beauty of the CG (and Sam Worthington, and his lovely lady friend, and a pretty convincing act of the army) overrides everything. I am surprised to see imdb only rated it a 7.6. It should have been at least scored 8.00.

I defend the beauty of the CG so much that I confronted my friends for laughing at the story out loud. It was definitely not that bad! How rude of them!

Terkenal di level sinetron, you know aku jarang nonton TV series, mungkin cuman Naruto ma Bleach aja belakangan ini.
So, di level big screen, America Ferrera gak ngetop lah.

Memangnya nggak gelap yah? Di scenes awal pas malem serangan dragon itu, keknya terlalu gelap.

Itu America Ferrerra kan terkenal :D yg ngisi suaranya Astrid. dia yg main jd betty di ugly betty. pdhl gak mirip sm skali suaranya, hebat2...

Tp yg ngisi suara si Hiccupnya emg gak menarik sih.. nothing memorable. biasa bgt.

Btw why do you think it was too dark on some early scenes?

True, Ip Man was one of the rare good kung fu movies. But I won't put much expectation on the sequels. Ong Bak 2 was not half as good as the original.
